Cat Boarding FAQs

Everything you need to know before booking a stay with us — booking, payments, health requirements, and what to expect during your cat's visit.

Booking & Payment

How do I book a stay?

Select your check-in and check-out dates on our availability calendar, choose a Studio or Terrace room, add your cat's details, and pay securely online. Your booking is confirmed once payment goes through, and you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes — the minimum stay is 2 nights, for both Studio and Terrace rooms. Peak nights around Singapore public holidays are shown on the booking calendar.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayNow, card, and bank transfer. Online bookings are paid securely at checkout by card, PayNow, or GrabPay. All prices are in Singapore Dollars and include GST where applicable.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms your booking, and the remaining 50% is due at or before check-in. All payments are non-refundable once made: cancellations before check-in forfeit the deposit, and cancellations or early departures after check-in forfeit full payment. No refunds, credits, or transfers are issued.

Can I book more than one room?

Yes. If you're boarding several cats, you can book multiple rooms, and we do our best to assign adjacent rooms so your cats stay close to one another. Just let us know at booking.

Health & Vaccinations

Which vaccinations does my cat need?

All cats must be vaccinated against feline parvovirus / panleukopenia (FPV), feline calicivirus (FCV), and feline herpesvirus / rhinotracheitis (FHV) at least two weeks before boarding. Please bring your cat's vaccination records to check-in — cats without proper documentation cannot be boarded.

Do you require FIV / FeLV testing?

Yes. FIV/FeLV testing is mandatory and proof of results must be provided at check-in. We don't discriminate — we accept FIV-positive and FeLV-positive cats — but we ask for advance notification so we can make the right arrangements.

Is flea and parasite treatment required?

Yes. Revolution (external parasite treatment) must be applied at least two weeks before boarding. It is mandatory for stray and community cats.

What if my cat seems unwell at check-in?

All cats must be healthy and free from contagious disease at check-in. To protect every guest in our care, we reserve the right to refuse boarding to any cat showing signs of illness, and we'll always talk it through with you.

Can you give my cat medication during the stay?

Yes. We administer medication according to your written instructions — please provide it clearly labelled with your cat's name, dosage, and schedule at check-in. Medication is charged separately based on the method and frequency, so please ask about rates when booking. For complex medical needs, we recommend a pre-boarding consultation.

Requirements & Policies

Does my cat need to be neutered?

We ask that cats be neutered to minimise yowling, calling, and spraying in a shared space, but non-neutered cats aged 6 months and older are warmly welcome for a $20 cleaning surcharge per cat for the stay, which lets us refresh the suite thoroughly. Kittens under 6 months, who are too young to be neutered, are exempt. Please let us know in advance if your cat isn't neutered.

Does my cat need to be litter trained?

Yes, all cats must be litter-box trained. We provide premium tofu litter and a tray, and you're welcome to bring your own litter if your cat prefers a particular type.

Do I need to tell you about my cat's behaviour?

Please do. Disclosing any known behavioural issues — aggression, anxiety, or destructive habits — helps us give your cat the right room and care, and keeps staff and other cats safe. Boarding may be refused or ended without refund if a cat poses a risk, and non-disclosure can lead to the same.

Are community or stray cats welcome?

Yes. Stray and community cats are welcome once a vet has confirmed they're clinically well, with Revolution applied and FIV/FeLV testing done. We accept FIV+ and FeLV+ cats — just let us know in advance so we can prepare.

During the Stay

Do you provide food, or should I bring my own?

Complimentary food is provided: Aatas Cat wet food and Science Diet Kitten dry food. If your cat has a sensitive stomach or eats a specific brand, you're welcome to bring your own, clearly labelled with your cat's name and feeding instructions. Cooked and raw diets are welcome; we only ask that no pork is included.

How do you help an anxious cat settle in?

It's normal for cats to feel unsettled and eat less for the first day or two in a new place. Our team stays vigilant during this familiarisation period and uses Feliway diffusers to help cats feel calm. Your cat's safety and home-like comfort come first.

How are rooms allocated, and is there roaming time?

Each family's cats have their own private room — we never mix cats from different households. Supervised free roaming in our common areas may be offered at our discretion for FIV/FeLV-negative cats with a suitable temperament.

Can cats from the same family share a room?

Yes. Cats from the same household can share — up to 2 in a Studio or 3 in a Terrace — with a $15 per-night fee for each additional cat. For shared rooms we ask for written consent that you accept responsibility for any conflicts between your own cats.

What happens in an emergency?

We ask for an emergency contact who stays reachable throughout the stay. If your cat needs care, we make reasonable efforts to reach your preferred vet; if we can't reach you or your contact within two hours of a medical emergency, we're authorised to arrange necessary veterinary care at the owner's expense.

Getting There & Extras

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 14:00–17:00 and check-out is 10:00–12:00, daily. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible subject to availability and may incur an additional charge — please arrange it in advance.

What are your opening hours?

We're open daily, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Can my cat have a groom before coming home?

Yes. Our exit grooming service sends your cat home fresh with a bath, brush, and nail and paw-pad trim, from $80. Just let us know when you book.

Do you offer collection and drop-off?

Yes — our Fetch & Send service picks up and drops off at your location for a fee. Let us know in advance and we'll arrange it.

Can I bring things from home?

Of course. Familiar bedding, a favourite toy, a carrier, or bowls can all help your cat settle. We recommend labelling everything with your cat's name; please note we can't be responsible for loss or damage to personal items.

Will my cat be photographed?

We may photograph cats during their stay for our website and social media. If you'd prefer we didn't photograph your cat, just let us know in writing before check-in.
